Position Available: 1 Position (Female Only)
Hourly wage: $13.00/Hour
Estimated hours per day: 32 hours weekly average
Job prerequisites:
Previous kitchen experience preferred. This position will involve working with high temperatures and sharp knives. Must be able to to handle all types of food, including pork and seafood products. Applicants must be able to stand for the duration of their shift, be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have no allergies to cleaning chemicals. Open availability including nights weekends and holidays is a must.
Job Descriptions:
Participants in this role will be required to assist in multiple capacities within the motel and restaurant area. Based on individual skill sets and business needs, participants may be asked to assist in one area or multiple during any given shift. It is important to remain flexible with the tasks assigned.
When working in the housekeeping department, responsibilities include: Maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms assigned. Duties will include but are not limited to cleaning rooms and common areas, including bathrooms, toilets, and showers, changing linens, laundry, dusting, vacuuming and emptying trash, etc. Very physically demanding.
When working in the kitchen area, responsibilities include: setting up and stocking food items and other necessary supplies, preparing food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces. They will be required to cook food items to restaurant specified recipes and standards.
It is important to maintain a clean, neat workstation and assist with any additional tasks as needed. It is possible that you will be asked to assist in other areas of the kitchen, including dishwashing, prep work, cleaning, and taking out trash
